ONE NIGHT IN HELL is the music-themed animated stop motion feature film spin-off from Unanico Studios’ stereoscopic 3D CGI animated short film of the same title.
The feature film is a co-production between UNANICO ENTERTAINMENT, London Stereoscopic Company and visionary rock musician Brian May, financed from the UK and France, with the animation being created by UNANICO STUDIOS and MacKinnon & Saunders.
The extended IP is an adaptation of the book ‘Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures in Hell’ that was produced by Brian May, Denis Pellerin and Paula Fleming as a homage to the original ‘Diableries Stereo Cards’, a 3D stereoscopic phenomenon, which started in Paris, in the 1860s. These cards have fascinated devotees for over 150 years and inspired the earliest film-makers, such as Georges Méliès.
As with the short film, Brian May will be creating the original score and soundtrack for the feature film spin-off.
